Introduction: Our study explores the use of AI in health information sourcing, focusing on Siri, Apple's intelligent assistant. We compare Siri's responses to common gastroenterology-related queries on two devices, the iPhone and iWatch. As AI, like Siri, Alexa, Google Assistant, and Cortana, becomes increasingly integral in everyday healthcare, understanding the question's nature and the response quality has emerged as a vital research area

Methods: We utilized Apple's universal AI software on the iPhone and iWatch to assess the dependability and credibility of gastroenterology-related information. Two anonymous authors graded the responses using Likert scale. We analyzed the accuracy of the audio responses and the quality of the supporting sources for each answer. Native language speakers participated in the study. Lastly, we employed T test to pinpoint the crucial factor influencing the results

Results: When compared to the iWatch, the iPhone provided significantly better responses, with more reliable references and images (95% vs. 91%, P= 0.023, 95% CI). However, there was no significant difference concerning the credibility of the information between the two devices (94% vs. 92%, p< 0.012).

Discussion: Artificial Intelligence persists as a crucial component in human progress. Wearable devices have emerged as a popular source for information. However, our study reveals a noticeable disparity in medical information reliability between wearable AI and traditional AI platforms
