Renee Williams, MD, MHPE, FACG, is a Professor of Medicine at NYU Grossman School of Medicine. Within the Department of Medicine she is the Associate Chair for Diversity, Equity and Inclusion and the Director of the Saul Farber Program in Health Equity. Institutionally she is the Pillar Lead for the GME Education Pillar for NYU Langone’s Institute for Excellence in Health Equity. Her interests include health disparities in colorectal cancer screening and medical education. She completed a Master’s program for Health Profession Education at NYU School of Medicine and Maastricht University in the Netherlands in 2018. She is the Co-Chair of the New York Citywide Colorectal Cancer Coalition (C5) risk assessment and screening committee, the Northeast Representative for the AAMC Group on Diversity and Inclusion and serves on the ACG Board of Trustees.
