Jennifer Telford, MD, MPH, FACG, completed a Bachelor of Science degree in honors physiology, a Medical Degree and an internal medicine residency at the University of British Columbia, Vancouver, Canada. She then pursued a gastroenterology fellowship at the Brigham and Women's Hospital and an advanced endoscopy fellowship at the Brigham and Women's Hospital and Massachusetts General Hospital. Dr. Telford also completed a Master's in Public Health at Harvard School of Public Health. She is a Clinical Professor of Medicine at the University of British Columbia and practices gastroenterology at St. Paul's Hospital with a focus on therapeutic pancreaticobiliary endoscopy. Dr. Telford is the Medical Director of the British Columbia Colon Screening Program since its inception in 2009. Dr. Telford's research interests are outcomes in endoscopy and colorectal cancer screening. She has an interest in quality improvement in endoscopy through peer training and is an active faculty in the Canadian Association of Gastroenterology Skills Enhancement in Endoscopy hands-on colonoscopy courses.
