Fouad Otaki, MD, provides care for patients with a myriad of gastrointestinal symptoms and disease. His clinical interests and research projects are focused on the care of patients with a variety of esophageal diseases. This has included Barrett’s esophagus, esophageal cancer, eosinophilic esophagitis, gastroesophageal reflux, achalasia and other esophageal motility abnormalities. He also performs several specialized procedures in his subspecialty: endoscopic mucosal resection, esophageal dilation, ablative therapies of the foregut (radiofrequency ablation, spray cryotherapy, balloon cryotherapy, argon plasma coagulation), reflux testing (including wireless testing), and high resolution esophageal manometry.
