Abraham Khan, MD, is an Associate Professor of Medicine at NYU Grossman School of Medicine, and since 2016 has been the Medical Director of the Center for Esophageal Health. His research has been well published in major gastroenterology journals and focuses largely on the diagnosis and treatment of gastroesophageal reflux disease as well as esophageal motor disorders. Dr. Khan has served on numerous national and international working groups, including the group establishing the Chicago Classification version 4.0 of esophageal motility disorders. His societal leadership experience has been vast, having been a councilor for the Neurogastroenterology & Motility section of the AGA, a special interest group chair for the ASGE, an educational committee chair for the AFS, a national course director for the ANMS, an active committee member for the ACG, and also a councilor for the NYSGE.
