Uzma Siddiqui, MD, FACG, is the Director of the Center for Endoscopic Research and Therapeutics (CERT) and the Advanced Endoscopy Training Program at the University of Chicago. Her clinical practice is centered on interventional endoscopy procedures related to pancreaticobiliary disease and gastrointestinal oncology (EUS, ERCP, EMR, ESD). She has extensive experience teaching and publishing on these techniques. A dedicated educator and mentor, Dr. Siddiqui has directed or served as faculty for many endoscopy courses around the country and internationally. She has also served on multiple national society committees, including the ACG's Women in GI Committee, ASGE’s Advanced Endoscopy Committee, and is a founding member and Vice-President of the global organization Women in Endoscopy (WIE).
