Anne M. Larson, MD, is a Clinical Professor of Medicine at the University of Washington (UW) in Seattle. A faculty member of the Hepatology division, she is one of the transplant hepatologists at the Liver Transplant Program at UW Medical Center. Dr. Larson is a nationally recognized researcher and lecturer, the author of numerous peer-reviewed publications, and is recognized as a leader in the field of hepatology. Dr. Larson has been a leading investigator in multicenter research on acute liver failure (ALF) through grant monies from the National Institutes of Health (NIH). Dr. Larson’s work has been published in numerous peer-reviewed journals including, Hepatology, JAMA, Liver Transplantation, Gastroenterology, and Journal of Clinical Gastroenterology. An ad hoc reviewer for journals that include, Alimentary Pharmacology & Therapeutics, The American Journal of Gastroenterology, and Clinical Gastroenterology and Hepatology, Dr. Larson is also the author of several book chapters. Dr. Larson is on the Editorial Board for the new journal, Case Reports in Medicine.
