David Hudesman, MD, is Co-Director of the Inflammatory Bowel Disease Center at NYU Langone Health. He is Professor of Medicine at the NYU School of Medicine. Dr. Hudesman specializes in the diagnosis and treatment of inflammatory bowel disease (IBD) and in the provision of integrated, seamless, patient-centered care. His research is focused on the development of biomarkers and evaluation and optimization of new medical therapies for the treatment of both Crohn’s disease and ulcerative colitis. Dr. Hudesman serves on the the Educational Affairs Committee of the American College of Gastroenterology and serves on the Professional Membership Committee for the Crohn’s and Colitis Foundation. He is a member of the American College of Gastroenterology, American Gastroenterological Association, and New York Society for Gastrointestinal Endoscopy. He is also a reviewer for five scientific gastroenterology journals.
