Marcia Cross is the co-founder of the HPV Cancers Alliance, an organization that is committed to educating the public about the HPV virus and the cancers it can cause. She is fiercely dedicated to saving lives through prevention, early detection, and patient and doctor education. No one should lose their lives because of this virus. As an actress, Marcia Cross is best known for her role as Bree Van de Kamp on the ABC hit series Desperate Housewives for which she was nominated for three Golden Globes and one Primetime Emmy. A graduate of The Juilliard School, she began her career doing plays at The Williamstown Theatre Festival, The Hartford Stage Company as well as the The Old Globe Theatre in San Diego where she was cast as Viola in Twelfth Night and Silvia in Two Gentlemen of Verona. Ms. Cross also starred in the television series Melrose Place and the critically acclaimed Everwood.
